Who is the data controller

Miljøcert AS is the data controller for the personal data processed in the service. Questions can be sent to hei@miljocert.no.

What we store about you

• Your account: e-mail address, name if you give one, language choice and which companies you have access to.
• What you enter into the service on behalf of your company.
• Use of the service: which pages are opened and what is clicked, so we can fix what is awkward. The measurement is our own and never leaves the platform.
• Payment: customer number and subscription status at the payment provider. We never see your card number.
• Identity check: that the check took place and whether it passed. The photo of your ID goes straight to the payment provider and is not stored with us.

Why

The account and the content are processed to fulfil the agreement with your company. Usage measurement and error alerting rest on our legitimate interest in running a service that works. Marketing measurement only happens if you have said yes to it.

We use cookies for login, protection against forged forms and language choice. These are necessary for the service to work.

If you say yes to marketing measurement, cookies from Google and Meta are set as well. You can change your mind at any time below.

Who we share with

We never sell data. These providers process data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement:

For how long

The content the company enters is kept for as long as the customer relationship lasts, and is deleted on request. The usage measurement keeps only the newest events. Documents from the identity check are deleted at the payment provider after thirty days.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion and a copy of your data. Write to hei@miljocert.no. If you disagree with how we handle it, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
